A recovering Mainlander, a writer and psychologist, drawn by the beauty, power, and mystery of Hawaii, I was adopted by the aina two years ago. Since then, learning Hawaiian history has turned me into an artist activist, a caregiver of Aloha with a vision of Hawaii forming a state constitution that truly embodies the "state of Aloha," a DMZ zone, not a military outpost, but a peace zone.
Balancing the ancient Hawaiian Ho'oponopono and vital Arts heritage with 21st century democratic public policy methods, our state could form an independent Aloha zone, where our economic treasures are the Aloha arts, rich healing resources for retired military and others to come to heal from the mistake of war, where our might is used to plant, grow abundantly, and feed our people, and where a thriving tourism industry helps visitors and pilgrims thrill to the energies of celebration.
Hawaii shares Aloha with the world and is a universal beacon like Bali and Tibet. As we enjoy life through hula, music, and chants reminding us that to succeed we must balance, forgive, and move mindfully to help educate in love and compassion,
Oh, and what I know about political psychology in a nutshell? We're all nuts! Kukui nuts.
Mahalo nui loa for creating this site!
