Quite simply, what kind of restrictions can be put in place to make sure we do not have current and former politicians dominate the concon by getting themselves elected?
I was pleasantly surprised to find out that very few legislators from the '78 ConCon were delegates. Why? Cultural pressure.
This is one reason why I believe this site is so important: if we get a huge mass of people interested in ConCon (and potentially interested in running as delegates) we would do much to discourage elected officials in much the same way as our predecessors did 30 years ago.
Nothing like coming in at the eleventh hour, but exactly how do we discourage/prevent most elected officials and what qualifies a person to become a delegate hopeful?
