There is a growing chorus of groups and individuals forming to educate the voters of Hawaii about the question on the ballot concerning the Con-Con. Check us out at http://www.itstimehawaii.com !
WHO WE ARE
It’s Time Hawaii is a group of Hawaii residents, representing all the islands, who have organized to effect a majority YES vote for a constitutional convention in the upcoming general election on November 4th.
None of us holds an elected office, nor is any of us running for one. We do not, as a group, represent any political party.
Our primary concern is that BLANK ballots on the question (below) will be counted as NO votes. We fear that voters who are not educated about the question will simply ignore it on their ballots, thereby actually voting AGAINST a ConCon.
Our effort will concentrate on informing the people of Hawaii how important a ConCon is for all of us. The ConCon’s purpose will be to review all aspects of the state constitution in light of growth, technology and impacts upon social relationships in Hawaii since 1978, the last time a constitutional convention was held.
